Virpi Pahkinen Dance Company returns to Stora Teatern with a new guest performance. Just in time for her fortieth anniversary year, Virpi Pahkinen creates a work inspired by celestial bodies. Dancing along a moonlit path toward the unknown, she is joined by her recurring dance partner Pontus Sundset. With power, light, and beauty, they embody life’s great mystery, in a poetic protest against the stress of our times. Virpi Pahkinen wishes to offer her audience an alternative to the paradoxical urge to speed everything up while simultaneously wanting to live forever.
