Nääs Castle has been a natural gathering place for over 60 years of Walpurgis celebrations. The castle park and surrounding grounds are perfect for a picnic and offer plenty of space for children to run around. The programme includes a traditional spring speech, choral performances, a torchlight procession and the lighting of the bonfire. Free admission.
Programme
- Choral singing and spring speech on the castle steps at 19:00.
- Torchlight procession followed by the lighting of the bonfire on the field below the castle (subject to the recommendations of the emergency services), approximately 19:30–19:40.
Castle shop and café open 11:00–20:00
The castle shop offers everything from vintage items and crafts to nostalgic goods inspired by Nääs and the turn of the last century. In the café, coffee and pastries inspired by the late 19th and early 20th centuries are served. Hot dogs and refreshments will be available in the castle courtyard from 18:00.

Guided castle tour
Experience 23 rooms and kitchens preserved just as they were in 1898. Tickets can be booked at naas.se, The tours are performed in Swedish.
