The music and film festival Way Out West – that attracts visitors from all over Sweden and large parts of the rest of the world – has filled Gothenburg and Slottsskogen city park with three days of music, festivities, and culture since 2007. The festival is a must for all music-loving, culturally oriented young minds.
Programme
The programme includes a line up of Swedish and international acclaimed stars. It also offers film premieres, great vegetarian food and a robust club programme called “Stay Out West” that takes place at night in central Gothenburg.

About Way Out West
Since Way Out West started in 2007, they’ve been blessed with stars such as Prince, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine, Neil Young, M.I.A., Alicia Keys, Stormzy, Frank Ocean, Robyn, The xx, Patti Smith, Solange and The Cure, to name just a few (OK, many).
Sustainability is a keyword for Way Out West and has been since our start in 2007. As the only festival in Sweden, and as the first music festival in the world in 2013, Way Out West holds an ISO 20121 certification.
