Welcome to the oldest beer pub in Gothenburg. Former governor Kjell A Mattson gave Ölhallen 7:an special permission to serve beer without having to serve food, which makes it the one place in Gothenburg that only serves beer and nothing else. The pub was founded in 1900 and has retained most its old original furnishings. Located in the city centre next to the market hall Stora Saluhallen, the pub is a popular drinking spot among locals as well as visitors.
