A taste of Britain

A taste of Britain serves home cooked British meals, prepared by Englishman Robert Nelson. Robert has spent the last 14 years in Gothenburg and decided that the time was right to share all the delicious recipes he learnt from his mother with all of us. Burrito Bros

Eric Degaardt and his brother John run Burrito Bros and sell their tasty specialties from a converted mobile home that they have bought from a Norwegian oil rig worker.

Clásico

Argentinean deli with a focus on sustainability. They use organic, fairtrade and locally produced ingredients. Try their burgers, fillet of beef and vegetarian dishes with flavours from Argentina. Organic coffee and deserts are also served here. Find out more at their Facebook-page.

Crave Street Food

Crave is located at the popular street Magasinsgatan, with a permanent location at the square next to Jinx Foodtruck. The menu consists of tasty sliders, wraps and hot dogs. Vegan and allergy-friendly options are available as well. Read more at Crave’s Instagram account.

Cruzin’ Coffee

Cruzin’ Coffee is a mobile barista bar cruising around town, making stops wherever a coffee shop is desired. The coffee beans come from a local roasting house and in addition to the coffee menu, you can have a little something to eat: donuts, seasonal pastries and sandwiches.

The Hatch

In the mood for some hearty pub style food but don’t have the time to visit a restaurant? The Hatch is specialised in gourmet sandwiches -filled with everything from char siu pork to Mexican chili. They also serve food free from gluten and offer vegan alternatives. Their ambition is to be environmentally friendly and use as few preservative et cetera as possible.

Jinx Food Truck

Jinx is a food truck with permanent position at the cosy street Magasinsgatan. They serve yummy Asian inspired food such as pork buns, vegan buns and thaicos (thai-tacos). They also have a permanent restaurant (Jinx Dynasty) at Victoriagården, just a short walk away.

Kaffeluckan

Lindholmen Street Food Market

Not just foodtrucks but street food in all kinds of ways, in the old shipyard buildings at Lindholmen, on the island of Hisingen. The food market is open every Saturday.

Tapas Fabrik

Sushi och sånt

During spring and summer, Sushi & Sånt serves sushi, pokébowls, dumplings and tasty side dishes. In autumn and winter, the menu and name changes to “Soppa & sånt”, with hearty soups instead of sushi, but the dumplings remain. Read more on Instagram.

Swedish Taco

Swedish Taco serves delicious tacos from their mobile kitchen inside a classic Swedish 70’s caravan. They combine fresh vegetables, minced meat (or vegan options) and a mix of homemade delicacies and mouth-watering toppings. Vi släcker din hunger

The name of the food truck ”Vi släcker din hunger” means ”We’ll put out your hunger” which seems appropriate given that the truck is an old fire truck! Here you’ll find rescued food, food that would otherwise go to waste! Pretty much everything is made using fair trade and organic ingredients, and you’ll find plenty of vegan dishes as well as gluten- and lactose-free options.
