Way Out West has filled the city park Slottsskogen with music, film, talks and fantastic vegetarian food since 2007. The three-day festival attracts visitors from all over the world, and continues to surprise us every year.
In 2025, the line-up includes artists like Chappel Roan, Charli XCX, Iggy Pop, Pet Shop Boys, Kite and Yung Lean & Blade. The concerts take place both in Slottsskogen and on live stages around Gothenburg as part of the unique Stay Out West club concept. Read more at wayoutwest.se.
Climate talks and vegetarian food
Way Out West has an ambitious sustainability work and all food served has been vegetarian since 2012. There are food options for all tastes, from pop-up restaurants with star chefs to loads of food trucks and local eateries moving into the area. Read more about the food selection at wayoutwest.se.

At the climate conference Greentopia, world-leading researchers and social activists talk with committed artists and pioneers from the music industry. In 2025, Greentopia will focus on food and how artists, music festivals and the live industry can contribute to a sustainable food system. On stage will be Gunhild Stordalen from EAT, award-winning chef Sofia B. Olsson from restaurant Vrå and Bob Hund’s artistic director Martin Kann.

Getting to Slottsskogen and discover the area
The Slottsskogen park adjoins the Linné, Majorna and Änggården areas. The nearest stop for trams and buses is Linnéplatsen. The various live stages around town can be reached with a short walk, tram or bus.
