EverTrek

At EverTrek, you’ll find bikes for every kind of adventure – from e-bikes and gravel bikes to city bikes and touring bikes. The minimum rental period at the Gothenburg base is four days. For longer rides, such as along the Kattegattleden, EverTrek also offers “one way biking”, allowing you to return your bike in another destination, including Halmstad, Malmö or Helsingborg. Electric bikes from Voi and TIER-Dott are available throughout central Gothenburg. Pick one up at any of the city’s regular bicycle parking spots and return it to the same type of spot when you’re done. Easy, convenient, and a great way to explore the city.

Bikemaestro

Bikemaestro Center is located at the Lisebergsbyn campsite, a stone’s throw from central Gothenburg and next to the scenic wilderness around Stora and Lilla Delsjön. They offer mountain bike rentals for adults and children, including electric bikes.

MTB Store

Gothenburg is great for mountain biking, and if you’re not able to bring your own bike to Gothenburg, you can rent one from MTB Store. Rentbike

Rentbike has a large selection of different bicycles, electric bicycles and accessories for rent, and is available at four different locations in Gothenburg. All bookings are made online on the website, and if you wish to cycle the bike tour Kattegattleden between Gothenburg and Helsingborg, you can pick up and drop off your bike in both cities.

Styr & Ställ

All around Gothenburg and Mölndal there are seven-speed Styr & Ställ bikes for rent at unmanned stations. In summer, temporary stations are added at popular bathing spots and excursion destinations. You rent them by downloading the Nextbike app and registering an account.

Bike Tour Gothenburg & Rental

Bike Tour Gothenburg is a good option if you want to combine bike rental with guided tours and local tips. You can rent 7-speed bikes on a drop-in basis, subject to availability, while other models such as hybrid bikes and e-bikes should be booked in advance. Helmet and lock are included in the rental.

Donsö Havskajak

In Donsö harbour, you will find a bike rental service run by Donsö Havskajak in collaboration with the restaurant Popsicle. Here you can rent a bike for a fixed daily rate and explore Gothenburg’s car-free southern archipelago on two wheels. Bike and helmet are included in the rental, and a bike trailer is available for an extra fee. You can also order picnic packages to bring along in the bike basket.
