Hagabadet – a timeless classic with class

It’s impossible to talk about spas in Gothenburg without mentioning Hagabadet. A beloved classic with Art Nouveau-style bathing facilities, offering relaxation and a wide range of treatments. How about a true West Coast experience with a seaweed bath and a massage using freshly harvested seaweed in handcrafted wooden tubs? You can also enjoy a workout and breakfast in the Orangeriet.

The bathhouse first opened in Haga in 1867 under the name Renströmska Bad- och Tvättinrättningen. When Valhallabadet opened in the 1960s, the old bathhouse was left abandoned and fell into disrepair for many years. However, it was restored in the mid-1990s, regaining its former glory.

Today, Hagabadet offers spa experiences not only in Haga but also along the riverfront in Hisingen and at Drottningtorget in the heart of the city.
