At Liseberg’s stages Stora Scen and Lilla Scen, a summer full of star power awaits. Kaj, the band who performed Sweden’s entry in the Eurovision Song Contest, brings laughter and sauna-sweaty tunes. Madness performs their iconic “Our House”, Tom Jones returns after his 2022 success, and Miriam Bryant takes the stage on 13 and 14 August.

Music summer at Pustervik

A staple on Gothenburg’s music scene is Pustervik at Järntorget – a historic former cinema and theatre hall that’s now a popular concert venue with a capacity of around 900 people. The upstairs dining room features a smaller, more low-key stage that can host up to 200 standing guests.

This summer, the intimate venue will welcome the legendary THE THE with their powerful blend of post-punk and new wave, and Donny Benet will bring sweaty nu-disco with a distinctly 1980s vibe. Gothenburg band Graveyard will also take the stage on 31 May.

Here, intimacy and energy come together in every performance. Read more here for the full summer program.

Concerts at Bryggan, Ringön

Stigbergets Bryggeri opens a new live stage with Bryggan, in the middle of Ringön on the island of Hisingen. Gothenburg band Franska Trion offers rock-jazz tones, while Dungen takes its genre-crossing psychedelia to new heights. More evenings with acclaimed artists await in a unique environment where beer, sea breeze and live music meet. Bryggan will be one of the obvious music venues in Gothenburg this summer.
