Treetop Spa
Treetop Spa is exactly as the name suggests, a hotel and spa in the middle of the treetops. The small hotel with 30 rooms has two different spa facilities – Treetop Bergspa on the mountain and Harmony Spa in the main building.
Kajkanten Vrångö
The smell of the sea, nature experiences, salty baths all year round and good food straight from the salty waters of the west coast? Kajkanten Vrångö in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago consists of eleven boathouses with fully equipped apartments and the sea as the nearest neighbour. The accommodation can be booked together with a range of cosy activities: raft with wood-burning sauna and hot tub, beachside seaweed safari with seaweed diver Karolina Martinsson or sea kayaking around the island.
Isbolaget
At the far end of the pier in Donsö harbour in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago is Isbolaget – restaurant and hotel in a converted ice warehouse. The fishing boats used to come in here and supply themselves with ice, and much of the house’s history is preserved in the scrubbed walls and rustic interior. The 14 hotel rooms on Isbolaget’s upper floor have views of both the fishing harbour and the sea.
Pater Noster
On the small island of Hamneskär at the far end of the Bohusland archipelago stands the iconic Pater Noster lighthouse. For more than 150 years, the lighthouse has guided sailors in Sweden’s most dangerous waters, and today the rugged lighthouse environment is a unique visitor destination. Here, they have also carefully renovated the old lighthouse keeper’s residence and turned it into an extraordinary accommodation. There is a total of sleeping places for 24 guests, and you live with full board. You get here with your own boat, booked rib-boat or helicopter.
Salt & Sill
Salt & Sill is a floating (!) hotel on the small island of Klädsholmen outside Tjörn north of Gothenburg. The hotel has modern and Scandinavian-decorated rooms, and directly outside the rooms there are several bathing steps, perfect for a refreshing morning swim. The hotel’s name, and the restaurant’s specialty “Herring Plank” gossip about Klädesholmen’s history as a hub for both fishing and processing of herring – and every year the hotel jointly designates the herring producer Klädesholmen “Herring of the Year” in festive ways.
Guest studios of the Nordic Watercolour Museum
On Bockholmen, opposite the museum itself, there are five guest studios next to the water. Here, overnight guests have the opportunity to rest as well as inspiration with direct proximity to the museum. Unwind with the landscape as your next-door neighbor and indulge in creativity that doesn’t require a internet connection. The studios are primarily used for artistic and art science research and development activities. Among other things, they are used for the museum’s own card scholarship 7Dagar. The studios can also be rented by artists, course participants and private individuals. In each studio, a maximum of two people can stay overnight and self-catering regarding food, bed linen and cleaning applies.
Tree tents with Pevon Ecoturism
Located in the middle of Vättlefjäll’s beautiful nature reserve, on the historic farm Björsjöås Vildmark, you’ll find Pevon Ecoturism. Here you can, among other things, rent tree tents, which are strung up in three strong tree trunks above the ground with the help of strong tension straps. This creates a smart combination of hammock and tent. Both comfortable and unique!
Hav & Logi
Here there are salty baths and beautiful Bohuslän cliffs within walking distance. At Hav & Logi there are accommodations in different price and standard classes.
