Hôtel Eggers is the third oldest hotel in Sweden still in operation. Parts of the building date from 1820, but the main structure as it is today was built in the 1880s. Traces of the old city walls, originally from the 16th and 17th centuries, have been discovered under the foundations.
The hotel has 70 rooms of high standard and access to WiFi. The rooms are diverse and individually decorated. Some rooms are larger and more luxurious, others a bit smaller and more intimate. With parquet flooring, antique rugs on the floors, stucco and crystal lamps in the ceilings the guests are invited in to a unique environment.
Eggers restaurant & bar is inspired by Paris and La Belle Époque at the turn of the century, the carefree era when people used cafes, restaurants and art galleries in the city as their very own living room. The restaurant and bar serve breakfast, lunch, brunch, fine dining and drinks.
