ICIA – Institute for Contemporary Ideas and Art was founded in 2012 and has since produced exhibitions, art projects and programmes, mainly public works.
In 2018, ICIA moved to Ringön and is now based in a 1200 square metres art hall, hosting exhibitions, programmes, studios and a workshop. ICIA continues to work on public art projects, mainly focussing on the area Ringön. Many of the studios are used by artists working in an area bordering on technology, artificial intelligence and art.
Getting there: catch a tram to the stop Frihamnen, and walk about one kilometres east to Järnmalmsgatan.
