The history of Nolhaga and the surrounding area dates back as far as the 16th century, however the current villa was built in the late 19th century, designed by Gothenburg based architect Adrian Peterson.
Nolhaga Slott has served numerous purposes over the years, including being used as a boarding house and art gallery. Today, the impressive villa is bookable for big events, and houses a popular restaurant.
The surrounding park offers a child friendly zoo, a modern playground and the lake Mjörn.
Nolhaga Slott is a part of the popular yearly event “Lights in Alingsås”, an event where buildings and monuments in Alingsås are lit up by Swedish and international light designers.
