Akia’s brewing philosophy is to brew beer that they themselves want to drink. The brewery is independently owned and is located in Kungsbacka south of Gothenburg. A wide range of beers are produced here, from pilsners to a hoppy IPA and hazy NEIPA. The brewery also brews barrel-aged stout, barley wines and sours.

Akia also has a tap room where beer tastings can be booked, as well as a restaurant section with a focus on everything from traditional Swedish home style cooking dishes to chili-glazed pork leg and pulled pork sandwich.
