It’s hard to find a better view of the city.
Guldhedstornet is a water tower designed by Nils Einar Eriksson. He also designed Draken cinema, the Gothenburg Concert Hall (Konserthuset) and Park Avenue Hotel. The building was inaugurated in March 1953 and the café at the top was opened to the general public just a few months later. Guldhedstornet is not to be confused with Guldheden’s southern water tower and is still operational.
