Partille World Cup 2025, 30 June–5 July

The youth tournament Partille World Cup is the world’s largest and most international handball event. Each year, it welcomes 23,000 participants from around 40 countries, divided among more than 1,300 teams.

GKSS Match Cup Sweden 2025, 30 June–5 July

This annual sailing competition in Marstrand takes place from 30 June to 5 July. The format, match racing, is a duel between two boats where only being first over the finish line matters. Visitors can watch the action up close from the cliffs of Marstrand.

Public viewing of the Women’s European Championship in Football , 4, 8, 12 & 17 July

Experience the festive atmosphere as Sweden’s matches in the Women’s European Championship are shown on a big screen at Ullevi Plaza, the newly inaugurated event space next to the iconic Ullevi arena. The matches against Denmark, Poland, and Germany and and against England in the quarter-finals will be broadcast with seating, food, drinks and activities on site. Free entry!

Pangsommar! One-day festival – 5 July

Pangsommar! is a one-day festival featuring both critically acclaimed artists Dina Ögon and Sarah klang, as well as exciting acts from Gothenburg’s local music scene. In addition to concerts, the festival area will be filled with DJs, food trucks and local beverages.

Live at Liseberg

The two concert areas at the Liseberg amusement park offer a full summer of live music. The lineup includes everything from iconic artists as Tom Jones and The Smashing Pumpkins, to rising stars. A concert ticket is required for shows on the Main Stage, while concerts on the Small Stage are included in park admission.
