The building formerly housing the shipbuilder’s engineers and repairs is today a stylish hotel with a harbour view. Shopping and entertainment is just a short ferry ride away.
The hotel, which is ISO-certified, has 260 rooms in a modern Scandinavian style. The guests have free access to the relax centre, featuring an outdoor jacuzzi on the roof terrace. You can also enjoy a harbour-view dinner in the restaurant.
For families with children, free screenings of children’s films are offered in the cinema and a social lounge with games such as shuffleboard, billiards and board games and, of course, lots of popcorn. There are also packaged offers with Liseberg amusement park and other family-friendly activities.
Outside the hotel runs the wooden-shod quay promenade, a popular walking route during the day and evening. The ferry Älvsnabben docks directly outside the hotel and takes you quickly and easily to entertainment and shopping in the city center and docks at Stenpiren. From Stenpiren you can also easily get to the Central Station. For those of you who are keen to discover the archipelago, you can instead depart from Stenpiren to take the ferry.
