At Sad Robot, impulsive ideas and a love of beer guide the brewing. The team describe their beers as unusual and unconventional, with little regard for how a particular style is supposed to taste.
That playful approach runs through the brewery’s identity, bringing together craft beer, science fiction and gaming. They even describe their taproom as possibly Gothenburg’s most post-apocalyptic pub – a claim best taken with the same humour as their visions of the future.
