Skateboarding attracts thousands of enthusiasts in Gothenburg, and the demand for a new ramp was high. The new ramp was built at Bananpiren in collaboration with representatives from the City of Gothenburg, construction experts from Skanska, and members of the Gothenburg Skateboard Association.
The ramp is yellow on the outside, with a green riding surface reminiscent of an unripe fruit, and it’s made from recycled concrete. The Swedish Skateboarding Championships were held here in May 2025.
