At Vrå, one of Clarion Hotel Post‘s two restaurant, you have one foot in Japan and the other on the Swedish west coast. The ingredients are carefully selected and largely locally produced, with a special focus on sustainably fished and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant draws inspiration and cooking methods from Japanese cuisine, but here you can expect a modern interpretation where Nordic flavors and techniques take as much place as classic influences from Japan. The menu goes beyond traditional sushi and instead offers creative dishes where texture, balance and precision are at the center.
Since the start in 2012, Sofia B. Olsson has been a driving force as both chef and operations manager. She has been recognized with several awards for her craftsmanship, leadership and commitment to creating a more inclusive restaurant industry and lifting and inspiring the next generation of chefs.
Both Vrå and Clarion Hotel Post are environmentally certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, the official ecolabel of the Nordic countries. Read more about the certification at strawberryhotels.com.
