At Stora Amundön you can walk the nature trail Naturstigen, which is about 4.5 kilometers and goes around the island. It is a journey through history, where you can see how people in different times has changed the landscape. Today, the island has a varied nature with salt-resistant plants and lush deciduous groves. On the northeast side there are grazing animals protected by fences with gates.
