This year’s theme: movement

Humanity is on the move. Everything in and around us moves, we dance to waves on a spinning globe. We challenge gravity and physical boundaries. We move farther and farther into space and into new worlds. We merge with technology and invent new versions of ourselves. We join movements and fight for our rights. And if there’s not a movement for our cause, we start one. During this year’s International Science Festival Gothenburg, we will explore movements that empower people and help us share knowledge and resources in new, revolutionary ways. We will go deep into tech and biology with a solarpunk mindset. Through science we get to glimpse at possible future scenarios. Join us at this year’s festival as we move beyond limits, strive forward and reach for the unknown.
