European Girls’ Team Championship

From July 9 to 13, Europe’s best junior female golfers will compete for the team European Championship title at Göteborgs Golf Klubb. Come and support the Swedish national team to win a medal!

The Girls’ Team European Championship is one of the four annual European team golf championships. In 2024, the championship will be held in Gothenburg. Around 120 female players, up to 18 years old, from approximately 20 countries will come to Sweden and Göteborgs Golf Klubb to compete for the medals.

Out of the 29 times the Girls’ Team European Championship has been played, Sweden has won medals 20 times – including eight gold medals! The last time Sweden won the championship was in 2017, with players like Linn Grant, Frida Kinhult, and Maja Stark on the team.

Other Swedish players who have lifted the European Championship trophy in the past include Caroline Hedwall, Pernilla Lindberg, and Linnea Ström. So, there’s a great chance to see some of the future world stars tee off at Sweden’s oldest golf club.

You are warmly welcome to watch some excellent golf and cheer on the Swedish golf national team to victory! As a spectator, you are welcome every day, and admission is free.

The opening ceremony is on July 8 at 18:00.
Location: Göteborgs Golf Klubb.
