Historic Sites & Houses

Get the boat to New Älvsborg Fortress and travel back in time, go on a guided tour of 18th century manor Gunnebo House and Gardens or visit the popular Christmas market at Tjolöholms Slott. One of the best ways to see Gothenburg is to visit one of the many lookouts found around town. For example the mountain Ramberget at Hisingen island, 87 metres above sea level, with excellent views all the way to the archipelago.
