Laleh is currently making her literary debut with her first novel, Jag såg hur vi var stjärnor, and will release new music on 2 October. In spring 2027, she will bring the book to the stage with a concert hall tour, premiering in Uppsala on 5 March.
After several years of performing on large outdoor stages and in arenas, Laleh is choosing a more intimate and free-flowing format. The performance takes its starting point from her autobiographical novel, bringing together new and familiar songs with memories, reflections and passages from the book, sometimes planned and sometimes created in the moment.
Laleh will be joined by musicians she has worked with for many years, creating space for improvisation and allowing each evening to take a different direction depending on the venue and the audience.
“I want to interact and improvise more with the audience. I’ve worked with the musicians joining me for many years, so we know each other very well and can follow one another quite freely. I hope that, together with the audience, we can create something that feels alive and perhaps a little different every night,” says Laleh.
The result will be a personal evening of music featuring new and familiar songs, stories and unexpected moments. A little more intimate, a little freer, and not necessarily the same from one performance to the next.
The tour will travel across Sweden and continue to Oslo before concluding in Umeå on 25 April.
