With passionate rhythms and emotions carrying memories of the past, the stage comes alive once again. In this dance performance, Manuel Liñán explores the power of the body and emotions in an intense work about the human need for closeness and connection.
Seven dancers, four musicians and a singer fill the stage with flamenco, passion and energy in a choreographic world where desire, dreams and provocation take centre stage.
Inspired by the cobla, the traditional Catalan ensemble, Liñán creates a work where folk tradition meets the contemporary, and where the body becomes a source of vitality. Passionate, sensual and playful, it is also an exploration of what happens when we dare to truly get close to one another.
