Every year the International Science Festival brings knowledge, inspiration and fresh perspectives to students, professionals, and the public. With roughly 50 000 visits annually, it’s one of Europe’s leading popular science events, and it mixes science and culture in a myriad of interesting ways. This years theme is Futures.

You can experience the festival in several different places around Gothenburg and online at the festival’s webpage, where you can find the full programs from February.

Public programme – open to everyone, April 1–6

The science festival aims to keep everything open and accessible, and free of charge, including venues that normally charge an entrance fee. No tickets or pre bookings are needed, if not otherwise stated. All you need to do is to bring your curiosity and head to the many activities and events included in the open programme, from April 1-6. The full programme will be avaliable in late February.

For schools and teachers: April 1–11

The science festival school programme gives teachers and students in pre- and elementary school an opportunity to participate in several fun, tricky, and creative activities. The programme for schools and teachers will be released in the end of January.

To take part in activities for schools and teachers you must book in advance.
