Over the course of their career, Westlife have achieved a remarkable number of milestones: more than 55 million albums sold, 36 number-one albums worldwide, and 14 UK number-one singles – more than any other artist aside from Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Their catalogue has been streamed over 3 billion times, and the band has sold more than 6 million concert tickets worldwide.
Their most recent tour, The Wild Dreams Tour, sold over 1.2 million tickets. Since reuniting in 2019, Westlife have performed more than 200 shows across 30 countries, cementing their position as the best-selling UK and Irish album group of the 21st century.
To mark the anniversary, the group are also releasing new music. The single “Chariot”, written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds and produced by Steve Mac, is a tribute to the fans and celebrates 25 years of music and memories.
“This year marks 25 years since we began this incredible journey together, and it still feels like the beginning. Our fans’ support has been absolutely amazing, and celebrating this with a world tour, new music, and a new album feels truly special. We can’t wait to see you all on the road and share this next chapter together.” – Westlife
