A traditional Swedish ”fika” is a must when visiting Gothenburg, and if you happen to be in Majorna you have plenty of cafés to choose from. Cum Pane offers sourdough deliciousness sure to please even pickiest of hipsters, and cosy café Matería is a green oasis right next to the lively square Mariaplan. Close to the square Stigbergstorget you’ll find gourmet sushi restaurant Hoze. Make sure to book well in advance, the renowned restaurant only seats 6 people and there’s an approximately 3 month long waiting list.
