Galleri Backlund is an art gallery on Karl Gustavsgatan in central Gothenburg, offering a wide selection of contemporary art. Its 165-square-metre gallery space showcases works by both established and lesser-known artists.
The gallery alternates between solo and group exhibitions and also displays works from its own collections. A variety of artistic expressions, techniques and styles come together here, with the aim of making room for different tastes and perspectives – those of both the artists and visitors.
Throughout the year, Galleri Backlund hosts several major exhibitions, complemented by smaller group shows. The gallery also works with art consultancy and offers guided tours, presentations and talks.
