A stone’s throw from the museum, you’ll find the guest studios of the Nordic Watercolour museum. They are sleek, minimalist studios built on stilts over the sea, designed to offer both tranquillity and creative inspiration. Large windows let in the shifting light of the archipelago, and each studio accommodates up to two guests.
The studios are primarily used for artistic work, research, and the museum’s own short-term residency programme, 7Days. However, they can also be booked by individuals, course participants and artists looking for a quiet retreat.
Guests bring their own food, bed linens, and take care of cleaning during their stay. In return, they are offered a stripped-back, peaceful environment with no Wi-Fi – but equipped with cooking facilities, a fridge, bathroom, and work desk. Please note that smoking, pets, and mooring boats by the studios are not allowed. This is a place for creativity and calm.
