Säröbanans Bryggeri gets its name from Säröbanan, which was a train line between Linnéplatsen in Gothenburg and Särö. Until 1965, the track was served by trains and railbuses, but nowadays the track is gone and in some parts a cycle track runs instead. Now the Säröbanan is being reincarnated in the form of a brewery that brings its beers to life in the old stations along its route.
