The chef Gustav Trägårdh, who has had a long and fruitful career and won several awards for his cooking, together with Stureplansgruppen, are behind the restaurant Gurras. The inspiration for the menu comes from food markets all over the world, such as Japan, Korea, Spain, and Hungary, which have then been elevated to à la carte level. The food is paired with playful and exciting wines, where the restaurant aims to promote smaller producers, mainly in Europe.
An elegant and inviting atmosphere is created by the rustic decor, with wood and leather furniture specifically designed for the restaurant, a bar made from granite, green vegetation, checkerboard flooring and an open fire in the kitchen. However, the most striking thing in the decor may be the large and wavy pine walls, which in themselves can sum up the rustic feel of the interior.
Gurras is located between the charming Kronhusbodarna and Nordstan shopping centre, next to Lilla Bommen.
