Gelato at Gelaterian Göteborg
At Gelaterian Göteborg, you can enjoy Italian artisan gelato at the ice cream shop and café on Grönsakstorget, close to Gothenburg’s central shopping streets. There is also a pop-up shop in Stora saluhallen. The gelato is made daily with organic dairy products, and the flavours range from classic Italian favourites to fruit sorbets and more unexpected combinations.
Gelaterian is also one of Gothenburg’s most awarded ice cream spots. It won the Swedish Ice Cream Championship in 2023 and took the overall title again in 2026. For a central ice cream stop with a clear focus on craftsmanship, this is one of the city’s strongest choices.
